The Nature's Spectrum Far-InfraRed Sauna Center is conveniently located in close proximity to several wonderful outdoor walks.

University of Victoria and Mystic Vale

Just moments away from the doorstep to the Center is one of the small trailheads leading into UVIC's little known wilderness reserve of Mystic Vale. West coast plant life and trees abound. Especially ferns! Follow the creek along the well cut trail complete with bridges, staircases and lookout platforms. Mystic Vale offers an intriguing tranquil escape.

Adjacent to the Vale, on the periphery of the campus, are UVIC's Oriental Gardens. Another peaceful relaxing experience.

Cadboro Bay Beach and Park

A short five minute walk away is the public beach access to the west end of Cadboro Bay Beach (nearest to the Royal Victoria Yacht Club). This is probably Victoria's most sheltered bay. Stroll the length of the sandy beach, enjoy watching the boating activity on the Bay or take time to play in Gyro Park. Must be under 12 years of age (at least at heart) to climb on the 40 foot life size replica of Caddie the Cadborosaurus sea serpent! A great place for the kids.

Cadbora Bay Village

Shop in the bookstore, gift shop, clothing boutique, Lifestyles Market or garden center. Or, just relax in one of the 3 deli/outdoor restaurants. You can even take care of your grocery shopping.
