The Nature's Spectrum Centre features a changing selection of Saunacore Far-InfraRed saunas.
We usually have two to three saunas on hand for our customers to choose from.
Our main sauna is the 4'x6' Premium cedar unit. This top of the line sauna features a spacious
L shaped bench suitable for one person to lie down or two to three people to sit comfortably. The
sauna has a full glass front creating an open, non-claustrophobia feel. Quality stereo speakers in
the sauna enable one to listen to music or watch TV and videos (bring your favorite CD's, tapes,
or videos to enjoy while you sweat).
We also have a specialized 4'x 4' sized Premium sauna constructed from poplar without the use
of glues, plywood or any synthetic materials. This unit is designed especially for clients with
chemical sensitivities. It comfortably seats one person and provides excellent coverage of
Far-InfraRed over one's body.
Saunacore saunas are equipped with an optimal number of Wide Spread Projection ceramic emitters.
The emitters produce a very specific form of Far-InfraRed energy, which minimizes the heating of the
air (temperatures range from 110-140 F compared to 185-210 F in conventional saunas) while having an
incredibly efficient heating effect on the human body. The Far-InfraRed heat is absorbed by our bodies
to a depth up to 2 inches. This is a major advantage over regular saunas which only heat slightly below
the surface of the skin (approx. 2mm.).The Far-InfraRed provides many health benefits not obtainable
with conventional systems.
The deeply penetrating Far-InfraRed heat has a powerful cleansing effect on our tissues and organs
and results in profuse sweating. People typically sweat 2-3X more in the Far-InfraRed sauna. Amazingly,
this is accomplished in comfortable non-fatiguing temperatures! The Far-InfraRed is a gentle soothing heat.
Breathing is easy! The cooler air does not burn one's sinuses! A truly different sauna experience!
